Magic of Africa – College of Magic

Magic of Africa gehört zu jenen Programmpunkten, die den Kongress weit über das Gewohnte hinausheben. Eine Produktion und speziell für Bad Aussee kreierte Show aus Kapstadt mit Live-Acts und integrierten Multivision-Elementen – getragen vom College of Magic, das 1980 gegründet wurde, sich selbst als weltweit einzigartige Institution versteht und vom Magic Circle London mit dem Chapender Prize ausgezeichnet wurde. Schon dadurch wird klar: Hier geht es nicht nur um Unterhaltung, sondern auch um ein Herzensprojekt das zeigt wie stark Zauberkunst Leben verändern kann

Mit Sinethemba Bawuti kommt ein erfahrener Vertreter des College of Magic nach Bad Aussee; auf der offiziellen Team-Seite wird er als Learning & Development Officer geführt. Dazu kommen mit Sinalo Mtwana ein junger Doppelsieger der Magicana Junior Magic Championships 2025 in Close-up und Stage, mit Lithemba Mti der Gewinner des Allan Slaight Award for Most Promising Up-and-Coming Close-up Magician und mit Sibabalwe Khwezi ein weiterer junger Performer aus dem College-Umfeld, der 2026 bereits im Children’s Magic Festival des College of Magic auf der Bühne stand. Diese Show bringt also nicht nur Magie aus Afrika nach Bad Aussee, sondern eine eigene künstlerische Handschrift, eine eigene Geschichte und eine Perspektive, die man auf europäischen Kongressen so noch nie gesehen hat.

Magic of Africa is one of those program highlights that lifts this convention far beyond the usual. It is a production and a show specially created for Bad Aussee from Cape Town, featuring live acts and integrated multivision elements — presented by the College of Magic, founded in 1980, which regards itself as a unique institution worldwide and was honored by The Magic Circle London with the Chapender Prize. This alone makes it clear that this is not just about entertainment, but also about a heartfelt project that shows how powerfully magic can change lives.

With Sinethemba Bawuti, an experienced representative of the College of Magic is coming to Bad Aussee; on the official team page, he is listed as Learning & Development Officer. He is joined by Sinalo Mtwana, a young double winner of the Magicana Junior Magic Championships 2025 in Close-up and Stage; Lithemba Mti, winner of the Allan Slaight Award for Most Promising Up-and-Coming Close-up Magician; and Sibabalwe Khwezi, another young performer from the College environment who already appeared on stage in 2026 at the Children’s Magic Festival of the College of Magic. This show therefore brings not only magic from Africa to Bad Aussee, but also its own artistic signature, its own story, and a perspective that European conventions have never seen in this form before.
